All good things must come to an end…. The Soapchix & I have had a lot of fun receiving these entries. You can tell that they were prepared lovingly with the best intentions. A repeating theme with each entry has been that the bakers had someone special in mind while making the dessert – either a birthday, Valentine’s day, a wedding. For me, it just goes to show that we all bake from our heart & love is the secret ingredient to everything we prepare.
The first of our final two entries is from Julie who is a Mid-Western gal with two girls. She loves to cook, knit, surf the internet & play Scrabble…. to name a few of her likes. She prepared a Danish Strawberry Pastry which looks perfect now, but apparently there were some “issues” with the first batch.
Second up, Jodi…. who happens to be Julie’s sister. I was a little confused at first (doesn’t take much, ask Alfredo) & then finally realized that Julie & Jodi share a blog to better keep up with each other. Jodi now lives in Colorado after 15 years in California. She has two children as well, a boy & a girl. Jodi also dabbles in MANY things, just lacks the time to do then all (I hear ya, sista!) She made this adorable Pink Poodle in Paris Cake.
The Soapchix & I are going to spend the weekend deliberating over who will be crowned the Serendipity Bake Off Queen…. Honestly, you’re all royalty in our book, but we only have one prize. If you have a favorite, then please leave a comment here so that we can consider it. Thank you, all!!!!

Yay – sisters in the same post! Sorry – I should have explained to you that we share a blog . . . Thanks for taking the time to introduce each baker and dessert.

Sorry I didn’t get a chance to submit an entry, but all the submissions look yummy – it’s going to be a hard decision, but a fun one! Can’t wait to see who the winner is.
