Hello, Limoncello!

It was either Tiff or Ash of Serendipity Soap Co. that said we really didn’t think this contest out completely. Instead of a “virtual” bake-off, we should have insisted that we taste all entries (well, at least I taste all of them!). Sadly for us, it didn’t occur to us that we would be drooling at our PCs then scavenging for sweets to fill the sugary void in our tummies (which means taking candy from our children…. nice).

Marie, The Proud Italian, has whipped up some magic to dazzle the eyes & pallet. She prepared a Limoncello Tiramisu for her well-fed, obviously adored husband. Marie’s magic wand & apron are in the Windy City (aka Chicago) which BTW got the nickname from its politics, not climate (interesting tidbit Ash’s hubby shared with us while I was chatting on the phone with her – thx Wes!).

This is so nice that we are having entries come in already & being able to showcase them one or two at a time. The Soapchix & I are having a lot of fun “virtually” sampling your desserts!

  1. He does sound like a well-fed, obviously adored husband! Of course, if he is too adored and too well fed, I would like to offer myself as an alternate taster. 😉

  2. Ooohhhh! This competition is definitely getting interesting! And with each new entry I’m becoming more and more impressed with the amount of talent and creativity out there in the world! (And more aware of my complete lack of culinary skills!)

Oh, and by the way, Happy Valentine’s Day!

  3. Oh my… this looks so very yummie!! Mmmmmmm! TFS!!
